Power Transformer Manufacturing 2 MVA

ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer of power transformers from 2 MVA, built to IS standards for maximum reliability and operational efficiency.

2 MVA Distribution Transformer — Shri Ram Transformer
How it works

Stepping high voltage down to usable power

Engineered for medium and large-scale industrial, commercial, and utility applications, the transformer steps medium-voltage electricity down to a safe, stable low voltage — using electromagnetic induction between three-phase primary and secondary windings, with no moving parts.

HV INPUT → CORE & WINDINGS → LV OUTPUT
High voltage (input) Winding / core Low voltage (output)

The primary (HV) winding has many turns of fine wire; the secondary (LV) winding has fewer turns of thicker wire. Electrical energy crosses between them magnetically through the CRGO core — the ratio of turns sets the ratio of voltages, with the two circuits fully isolated from each other.

Built for the field

What goes into every unit

Each transformer is engineered for low losses, high short-circuit strength, and long, low-maintenance operation under demanding industrial and utility conditions.

Premium CRGO Core

Cold Rolled Grain Oriented silicon steel keeps core and copper losses low while improving magnetic performance.

Copper or Aluminium Winding

Choose electrolytic-grade copper or high-conductivity aluminium windings, both built for long service life.

Heavy-Duty Welded Tank

Corrosion-resistant, welded steel tank built for high short-circuit strength and continuous operation.

ONAN Cooling with ONAF Option

Standard Oil Natural Air Natural cooling, with Oil Natural Air Forced available for higher thermal loads.

Excellent Voltage Regulation

Holds a consistent output voltage through load fluctuations, protecting connected equipment.

Low Maintenance Design

Built for long operational life with minimal upkeep, routine tested per IS 2026 before dispatch.
